Senior Security Professional

As the Senior Security Professional, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an enterprise-wide security vision, strategy, and program to ensure that all systems and data are adequately protected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy, policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption solutions, and other security technologies.
  • Lead the development and execution of security awareness and training programs to foster a culture of security awareness throughout the organisation.
  • Direct the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks across all aspects of operations, including applications, infrastructure, and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor and analyse security incidents and breaches, and coordinate incident response activities to minimise impact and prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, compliance, and business units, to integrate security requirements into business processes and systems development life cycles.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats, industry trends, and best practices in cybersecurity, and assess their potential impact on the security posture.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, auditors, and other external stakeholders on matters related to information security and compliance.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership and the board of directors on the state of the security program, including key metrics, risks, and initiatives.
