Key Role: Assistant Manager

Job Description:

This is a pivotal role that demands meticulous planning, organisation and execution. As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee internal and external research projects, leading from the front to ensure seamless delivery.

Your primary objective will be to design and pilot surveys using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Advanced data analysis is also an integral part of this position, where you will use statistical software packages to inform programme strategy and implementation.

The successful candidate will engage with external agencies to conduct high-quality research while adhering to strict ethical protocols. You will be responsible for reviewing reports, conducting literature reviews and ensuring databases are up-to-date and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead assigned research projects independently
  • Develop and implement survey designs in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Conduct complex data analysis to inform programme strategy and development
  • Collaborate with external agencies to execute quality research initiatives
  • Review and provide feedback on stakeholder reports
  • Maintain and update organisational knowledge databases
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with quantitative methodologies and data analysis
  • Familiarity with experimental or quasi-experimental research studies
  • Hands-on experience with primary data collection, child protection and ethics
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively
  • Ability to interpret research findings to inform programme strategies
