Transaction Monitoring Specialist Role

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial systems.

This specialist position involves reviewing assigned alerts and documenting findings using the AML alert management system, reviewing manual referrals generated by different areas of the bank, conducting enhanced due diligence research on individuals, institutions, and trusts through LexisNexis and other internet tools, interacting with bank management on suspicious transactions conducted by customers, and preparing and reviewing loan accounts, RDC (Remote Deposit Capture), wire transfers, and monetary instrument reports.

You will be responsible for maintaining strong investigative skills, working independently, and demonstrating extensive banking and compliance knowledge.

  • Reviewing assigned alerts and documenting findings using the AML alert management system
  • Reviewing manual referrals generated by different areas of the bank
  • Conducting enhanced due diligence research on individuals, institutions, and trusts through LexisNexis and other internet tools
  • Interacting with bank management on suspicious transactions conducted by customers
  • Preparing and reviewing loan accounts, RDC (Remote Deposit Capture), wire transfers, and monetary instrument reports

A minimum of 1-8 years of experience in AML - Transaction Monitoring (International Process) and holding AML level 1 detection certification are required. The ideal candidate should be flexible to work night shifts and able to maintain focus during extended periods of time.
