Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the accounts payable department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • The successful candidate will manage AP staff, enforce financial controls, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily AP operations, including invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Manage, train, and support accounts payable staff to ensure efficient and effective AP processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement AP processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Assist with audits, month-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Generate AP reports and support financial planning and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or accounting, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
