**Job Overview**

The role of a System Resilience Engineer is crucial in ensuring the infrastructure that supports ad exchange applications, load balancers, data stores, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring stacks are well-maintained and up-to-date.

This position requires an individual who can continuously improve the infrastructure's resilience, scalability, and efficiency to meet the demands of massive request volumes and stringent latency requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Oversee and maintain infrastructure supporting ad exchange applications, load balancers, data stores, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring stacks.
  • Continuously improve infrastructure resilience, scalability, and efficiency to meet demands of massive request volumes and stringent latency requirements.
  • Develop policies and procedures to improve overall platform stability and participate in shared on-call schedules.
**Collaboration with Developers**
  • Work closely with developers to establish and uphold quality performance benchmarks, ensuring applications meet necessary criteria before being deployed to production.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on infrastructure-related aspects to improve system performance and reliability.
**Building Tools for Infrastructure Management**
  • Develop tools that simplify and enhance infrastructure management by automating processes and improving operational efficiency.
  • Tools should address areas such as monitoring, alerting, deployment automation, failure detection, recovery, critical minimization, latency, and uptime.
**Performance Optimization**
  • Focus on reducing latency and maximizing efficiency in components, request handling, load balancers, and database optimization.
  • Implement best practices, tools, performance monitoring, real-time analysis, and response mechanisms.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience managing services for large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP routing, SDN, modern software architectures.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, focusing on automation.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and virtualization platforms preferably GCP.
  • Ability to independently own problem statements, manage priorities, and drive solutions.
