Company Description Egis is a leading global architecture consulting construction engineering and operating firm We work side by side with clients to build a more balanced sustainable and resilient world Since 1995 we ve worked closely with government and private operators to support India s continued development Together we ve delivered over 90 successful projects winning multiple awards We are one of the only engineering firms to offer truly integrated services across all major engineering disciplines and every aspect of the built environment - from road to water to energy rail and beyond This means you can access all the expertise you need for your project all in one place Our key areas of expertise Road design operation under Egis Road Operation India Pvt Ltd Water waste treatment environment Energy Rail metro Aviation Ports Smart cities urban development Building engineering architecture for unique structures We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Design Chief Resident Engineer Elevated Station Depot- E M to join our team in Surat India In this pivotal role you will lead the design and engineering efforts for elevated stations and depots with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems for our cutting-edge transportation infrastructure projects Oversee the design and engineering of electrical and mechanical systems for elevated stations and depots Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards regulations and safety requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate E M systems with other aspects of station and depot design Manage project timelines budgets and resources effectively Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and address any engineering issues Liaise with clients contractors and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in transportation infrastructure design Qualifications Master s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering required Minimum of 25 years of total experience and minimum 7 years experience in design and engineering of elevated stations and depots with a focus on E M systems Proven expertise in electrical and mechanical systems for transportation infrastructure Strong leadership skills with experience managing large-scale engineering projects Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to transportation infrastructure Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment Professional Engineering PE license preferred Experience with sustainable design practices and Building Information Modeling BIM is a plus Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
