We are seeking an ambitious and detail-driven Network Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing and supporting network security infrastructure, particularly firewalls.

  • Monitor, manage, and support firewall security infrastructure (primarily Palo Alto, FortiGate, and Cisco firewalls).
  • Respond to network security alerts and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine firewall rule changes, configuration updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and internal teams to ensure the security posture of the organization is maintained.
  • Assist in maintaining security documentation, including change records and network diagrams.
  • Work with ticketing systems to resolve issues and complete tasks as per defined SLAs.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Master's degree preferred.
  • 6 months to 3 years of experience in network security or related roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
  • Good to have knowledge of FortiGate and Cisco firewalls.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Familiarity with security incident response and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
