Job Summary :


We are looking for a seasoned Network Security Specialist with deep expertise in Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Layer 3 network security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration, monitoring, and management of WAF solutions including F5, AWS WAF, Cloudflare, and Imperva. This role demands strong analytical skills, hands-on technical experience, and the ability to work independently in a client-facing Responsibilities :


- Configure, monitor, and manage WAF platforms such as F5, AWS WAF, Cloudflare, and Imperva.

- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain WAF systems in production environments.

- Independently handle ticketing tools like Symphony, CDC, and Google SOAR.

- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly health checks of WAFs and other network security devices.

- Communicate with OEMs, vendors, partners, end users, and clients regarding WAF-related issues.

- Update and manage tickets for incidents and service requests related to WAFs.

- Analyse WAF-related tickets and contribute to continuous improvement Skills :


- Proficiency in configuring, managing, and optimizing WAF solutions.

- Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and web application communication.

- Familiarity with OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities such as SQL injection and XSS.

- Ability to develop and enforce security policies and rulesets tailored to specific web applications.

- Experience with vulnerability testing tools and Skills :


- Monitor and analyse network traffic to detect and respond to suspicious activities.

- Conduct incident response and forensic analysis during security breaches.

- Regularly monitor WAF security logs and alerts to proactively identify Skills :


- Collaborate effectively with development and IT teams to ensure secure application deployments.

- Communicate clearly with OEMs, vendors, partners, and clients regarding security issues and resolutions.

- Maintain a proactive mindset by staying updated with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and

mitigation Certifications (Any) :


- CISSP : Certified Information Systems Security Professional

- CCSP : Certified Cloud Security Professional

- CompTIA Security+

- COBIT 5 Certification Training

- AZ-500 : Microsoft Azure Security Technologies
