Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Project Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in steel plant or heavy industrial plant projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret AutoCAD drawings for project execution, ensuring accurate implementation and adherence to design specifications.
  • Assist in the coordination and management of mechanical project execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Coordinate with design and project teams to ensure proper execution, maintaining effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support in reviewing vendor drawings and specifications, providing expertise on technical requirements and quality standards.
  • Exposure to hydraulic systems, utility systems, and piping is desirable, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of complex engineering concepts.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Advanced AutoCAD proficiency (essential), with ability to create detailed drawings and models.
  • Background in contracting / EPC / equipment supply firms, with experience in project execution and management.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems, utilities, and piping preferred, demonstrating adaptability and willingness to learn.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in steel plant or heavy industrial plant projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications in project management or related fields, enhancing leadership and management skills.

This role requires a seasoned Senior Project Engineer with experience in steel plant or heavy industrial plant projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contracting / EPC / equipment supply firms and advanced AutoCAD proficiency.
