Lead Development Specialist

About the Role:

This is a dynamic position that requires a seasoned professional to spearhead fundraising initiatives for a social impact organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive annual fundraising plan, building relationships with stakeholders, and securing revenue to support the organization's philanthropic efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in direct fundraising and partnership development, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership position. They will possess excellent organizational and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a robust annual fundraising strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including high net worth individuals, corporations, and foundations
  • Develop and execute innovative fundraising campaigns and events to engage diverse supporters
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enrichment and augmentation of fundraising efforts

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in business, social sciences, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in direct fundraising and partnership development, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
  • Proven track record of success in securing revenue and growing donor networks
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
