Job Title:

IT Governance & Cybersecurity Expert

Mizuho Global Services is a subsidiary company of Mizuho Bank, Ltd.

  • Develop, implement and maintain IT governance frameworks to ensure alignment with the bank's strategic objectives.
  • Establish and enforce policies, standards and procedures for IT operations.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of IT governance practices to identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • EDR Operations:
    • Lead advanced threat detection and response efforts using Carbon Black EDR across endpoints.
    • Investigate and analyze sophisticated security alerts and events to determine root cause and scope of security incidents.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior analysts assisting with incident investigations, analysis and resolution.
    • Develop and implement advanced detection and response strategies using Carbon Black EDR to enhance overall security posture.
  • IT Governance:
    • Design and implement information security strategy ensuring protection of sensitive data and systems from cyber threats.
    • Develop, enforce and regularly update information security policies, procedures and standards.
    • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies to reduce security risks.
    • Lead incident response efforts including investigation, reporting and resolution of security breaches.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and information security standards.
  • Expertise in risk management, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
