Design Studio Lead

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the design process and ensure that projects are executed efficiently. To achieve this, the candidate must possess exceptional leadership skills, as well as expertise in architecture.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage all projects from design to execution
  • Develop conceptual plans in consultation with the Associate Architect
  • Present designs to clients and facilitate meetings
  • Assign work to junior architects and trainees, providing guidance and support
  • Coordinate services design and communicate effectively with consultants
  • Prepare project schedules, client meeting agendas, and material specifications
  • Ensure compliance with project deadlines and quality standards

Requirements:


Qualifications Required:

A B.Arch and M.Arch (preferably) are necessary qualifications for this position. Additionally, a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role is required.


Reporting Structure:

The successful candidate will report directly to the Associate Architect or Founding Principal Architect.


Key Responsibilities:

Upon appointment, key responsibilities include:

  • Leading design teams to achieve project goals
  • Collaborating with senior architects and associate architects to drive project progress
  • Ensuring effective communication with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate records and tracking project milestones
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
