Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Quality assurance engineers play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of products by performing thorough testing and validation.
Main Responsibilities:- Testing: Conduct manual and automation testing to guarantee product quality, encompassing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Test Development: Develop and maintain test cases, plans, and scripts to streamline the testing process.
- Bug Identification: Identify and track bugs using tools like JIRA or TestRail, facilitating efficient issue resolution.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with development and product teams to align on requirements and fixes, promoting seamless workflow.
- Cross-Functional Expertise: Work with CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation testing, expanding technical expertise.
For this Quality Assurance Engineer position, we seek an individual with:
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Educational Background: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of QA experience, preferably in ITSM or networking products, showcasing strong understanding of manual testing, bug tracking, and agile processes.
- Tech Savviness: Basic experience with APIs, SQL, and performance testing tools like JMeter, as well as familiarity with tools like Selenium, Postman, and Appium (a plus).
- Networking Knowledge: Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, SNMP), and exposure to CI/CD pipelines and scripting in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
