Are you passionate about helping individuals with diverse needs communicate effectively?

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team of special educators and therapists.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing tailored therapy plans, providing instructional support, maintaining thorough documentation, managing student behavior, and adapting curriculum for accessibility and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tests and evaluations.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Therapy Plans (ITPs) tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one and group speech therapy sessions to improve articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and expressive communication.
  • Collaborate with special education teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and parents to support integrated student development.
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adapt therapy plans as needed.
  • Utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools when appropriate.
  • Educate and train staff and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques.
  • Participate in ITP meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid certification or license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
  • 3-7 years working with children and adults with multiple disabilities.
  • Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Tamil required.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and specialized instructional strategies.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
