Junior Pharmacist Role

Aster Medcity is looking for a skilled professional to join their dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by physicians.
  • In addition, they will monitor customers drug therapies, advise interventions, and inform customers of any potential side effects.
  • The role also involves instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
  • Key responsibilities include conducting health and wellness screenings, providing immunizations, and performing other medical services such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.
  • The Junior Pharmacist will also be required to maintain accurate customer records, ensure a safe and clean working environment, and complete operational requirements of the pharmacy including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the inventory.
  • Fully adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice is essential for this position.
