Senior Sourcing Specialist Role Overview

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer for Strategic Sourcing Electronics. This role involves reviewing and analyzing Bills of Materials to generate accurate quotes, sourcing electronic components globally, building vendor relationships, and negotiating pricing and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze BOMs to generate accurate quotes.
  • Sourcing active and passive components globally.
  • Build and manage vendor relationships, evaluate supplier performance and reliability.
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of sourcing/procurement experience in an EMS company.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, BOM-based quoting, and global sourcing strategies.
  • Familiarity with procurement software tools (ERP or equivalent platforms).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
  • Exposure to international sourcing and import/export compliance.
  • Knowledge of standards such as RoHS, IPC, and ISO.
