Network Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our enterprise network on routing and switching technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot complex incidents that require design changes or OEM involvement, adhering to SLA/KPIs.
  • Provide L3-level support for enterprise networks, including Cisco-based WAN/LAN/WLAN and SDWAN technologies.
  • Carry out complex network change events.
  • Act as architect for projects in day 2 scenarios.
  • Design and deploy new enterprise sites, create configuration packs, and deploy them on the ground.
  • Raise TAC cases with OEMs and drive incident resolution.
  • Coordinate with CSP fault management teams for access link issue resolution.
  • Work with OEMs for upgrades and life cycle management.
  • Design and implement final fixes for complex incidents.
  • Represent Operations in architectural discussions with customers.
  • Analyze industry advancements and advise customers.
  • Assist Major Incident resolution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and 10-12 years of experience in networking technologies.
  • Experience in Large Enterprise Networks, preferably at L3 level, in Service assurance.
  • Strong experience in EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, CoS, QoS, VRF, VLANS, and VPNs.
  • Understanding of Network Segmentation approaches and CISCO SD Access based Network Segregation.
  • Knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP & IPAM) and Cisco ISE is a plus.
  • CCNP (Routing & Switching)/CCIE R&S desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills, oral and written communication skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong MS Office skills and self-starter with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on-call support at odd hours.
