Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a talented Python AI/ML Engineer to design, develop and implement robust backend software solutions primarily using Python, with a strong focus on AI/ML applications.
  • You will develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI or equivalent frameworks, often serving AI-powered features.
  • As a Python AI/ML engineer, you will build responsive and intuitive frontend user interfaces using React to visualize and interact with complex AI models and data.
  • You will utilize the Azure cloud platform (or similar) for application development and deployment, demonstrating a willingness to explore and master new cloud and AI/ML specific cloud services.
  • The role involves architecting and implementing Generative AI solutions, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, to enhance model capabilities and provide context-aware responses.
  • You will work with and integrate various Large Language Models (LLMs), exploring fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and optimal model selection.
  • This position requires developing and orchestrating Agentic AI workflows using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration tools.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including AI Researchers and Data Scientists, is essential to translate cutting-edge research into impactful, deployable solutions.
  • Proactive staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in the rapidly evolving AI/ML landscape, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team.
  • Contribution to a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement in AI-driven development.
  • Maintenance of strong knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and drive for continuous learning and self-improvement, particularly in the AI/ML domain.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with proven ability to tackle complex challenges independently, especially in areas like AI model integration and optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming, with experience in developing AI/ML applications.
  • Familiarity with React for frontend development.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform (or similar) services, ideally including AI/ML services.
  • In-depth knowledge of API development, preferably with FastAPI.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong theoretical understanding of Generative AI concepts, LLMs, and their applications.
  • Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) systems.
  • Experience with Agentic AI and frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration tools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and knowledge sharing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently, taking ownership of tasks, and as an integral part of a collaborative team.
  • Participation in Hackathons/Coding competitions, especially those focused on AI/ML, is a significant plus.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies, including those specific to AI/ML model evaluation.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and cloud-native development, particularly in the context of deploying AI/ML models, is a strong plus.
