Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the efficient running of our processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in process optimization, capacity enhancement and improving product yield.

About You:

You will have a degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Science. Your skills include: heat and mass balance, PFD and P&ID review, techno-commercial evaluation and project management. Experience in introducing new technologies would be beneficial. You should also have knowledge of calculation of Heat and Mass balance and Utility requirement for a process.

Your Responsibilities:

  • To provide technical support for process optimization, batch cycle time reduction, product yield improvement, capacity constraint analysis and solvent recovery initiatives for cost reduction.
  • To sustain business profitability by monitoring and optimizing the cost of production and minimizing losses.
  • Focus on capacity enhancement, improvement of existing processes, batch-cycle time reduction and solvent recovery.
  • Expertise in basic and detailed engineering activities like energy and mass balance, PFD, P&ID, equipment sizing, utility requirement, P&ID review, techno-commercial evaluation and project management.
  • Introduction of new technologies in consonance with latest best manufacturing practices in the industry.
  • Knowledge of calculation Heat and Mass balance and Utility requirement for a process.
  • Mapping of the product, selection of equipment and facility creation.
  • Compilation of experimental observations and analytical results for tech transfer report.
  • Successful execution and validation of new processes by closely working with R&D/Production and other cross functional teams by following good manufacturing and engineering practices.
  • Effective planning and timely execution of process engineering initiatives as also trial & validation of batches for existing products in coordination with R&D/Production/QA/QC/EHS etc.
  • Conceiving various improvement schemes, process feasibility studies, as also developing techno- commercial proposals.
