Job Summary

As a Software Developer at FIS, you will be working with the enablement team to integrate FIS' Identity and Access platform with various FIS products. You will need to have a thorough understanding of Federated IAMs and its standards. Your responsibilities will include working with internal and client development teams to assist them in integrating with the Infinity IdP application, as well as troubleshooting issues in development and production. You will be the main point of contact for technical support and training and will work on coding enhancements in the core product based on client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling a dual development and technical enabling/consulting role, you will be working with internal and client development teams to assist them in integrating with the Infinity IdP application, as well as troubleshooting issues in development and production.
  • You will analyze, design, code, debug and modify software built in Java and Javascript.
  • You will deliver patches to QA for testing prior to production deployment.
  • You will communicate with and help train internal and external clients.
  • You will write knowledge base entries designed to help other technical users consume and/or integrate to the application.
  • You will respond to production issues related to the software, and work with the service delivery team to troubleshoot.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience as a developer in the Java enterprise environment
  • Experience with SSO protocols like SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect.
  • Troubleshooting in Splunk
  • An in-depth knowledge of REST services.
  • Hands on knowledge on application deployment in Tomcat, JBoss.
  • Good knowledge on build tools – Ant, Maven.
  • Experience with Oracle, MySQL, Postgres.
  • Exposure to Linux environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take.
  • Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed.
  • Ability to self-manage your time and gauge priorities.
  • Experience in SNOW & Incident Management.
