Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Backend API Developer to join our Development Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs that power our applications and services.
Main Responsibilities:- Design and develop RESTful APIs using PHP, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Optimize SQL databases to support application requirements and data integrity.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of APIs to ensure reliability and security.
- Monitor and optimize API performance, resolving any issues that arise.
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and define specifications.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Familiarity with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman).
- Knowledge of authentication and security practices for APIs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a focus on API development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Familiarity with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) is preferred.
- Understanding of RESTful API principles and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
We offer a competitive salary range of ₹800,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, based on your total experience in the IT industry. Additionally, you will receive:
