Job Overview

As a key member of the education team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of all schools. This role involves overseeing administrative duties, infrastructure, planning, forecasting, and budgeting in accordance with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Manage day-to-day administrative activities related to school operations.
  2. Requisitions for curriculum support and inventory management within set timelines.
  3. Ensure timely updates on student and staff data, circulars, events, tests, examinations, and trips.
  4. Establish quality standards for services such as transport, catering, security, uniforms, and teaching & learning environments.
  5. Create a cooperative school-parent relationship through effective interaction and issue resolution.
  6. Resolve issues with external vendors and agencies within stipulated timeframes.
  7. Present regular MIS reports to the Principal.
  8. Plan functional-MBWA with the Vice-Principal and Principal.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Efficiently manage administrative functions, resolve issues within agreed times, and maintain records.
  2. Operations - logistics, security, housekeeping, and support staff.
  3. Operations & Records - resources, furniture, tools, equipment, uniforms, and fixtures.
  4. Maintenance & Repairs - around the school & Ground.
  5. Documentation of staff, students, school circulars, events, test schedules, and trips.
  6. School safety equipment is always in top condition.
  7. Cost-effective arrangements for training programs, workshops, field trips, SPA, Sports day, Annual concert, or any other special day beyond day-to-day requirements.
  8. A cooperative school-community relationship is maintained.
  9. Day-to-day issues related with external vendors and agencies are resolved within the time frame and stipulated dates.
  10. All administrative documents are regularly updated and well-maintained.
  11. All urgent and important issues are brought to the notice of the Principal immediately.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 5-8 years' experience, with at least 2 years in the education industry.

Desirable:

  • MBA - Finance/Marketing/Operations.
  • Experience in education, telecom, insurance, retail, IT training sectors.

Firm understanding of business principles, excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, decision-making capabilities, self-driven attitude, emotional intelligence, assertiveness, analytical thinking, and ability to work under pressure.
