Global Supply Chain Management Leader

Job Overview:

The Global Supply Chain Management Leader oversees the entire logistics operation, coordinating with procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound sea/air freights to global locations and coordinate with regional counterparts for timely delivery.
  • Oversee day-to-day logistics tasks such as shipment tracking, documentation, and vendor coordination.
  • Prepare and verify accurate documentation including bills of lading, certificates of origin, and duty forms.
  • Lead end-to-end import/export operations, coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations and negotiate contracts with suppliers and customs authorities.
  • Analyze imports and export-related port data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize shipping methods.
  • Perform risk assessments and enact contingency plans to mitigate risks in global trade.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on international trade regulations and adapt procedures accordingly.
  • Oversee and maintain necessary import/export licenses, certifications, and registrations.
  • Monitor and manage customs duties and tariff exposures, implementing duty mitigation strategies.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with international trade to ensure a secure and reliable import/export process.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Power BI analysis and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP and MIS systems.
