Senior/Lead Embedded Software V&V Engineer Role

At Advanced Sterilization Products, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Lead Embedded Software V&V Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of software testing procedures for embedded systems.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement system and software level test protocols, including automated scripts.
  2. Develop software test tools for verification and validation of medical systems.
  3. Analyze system and embedded software-level product requirements to develop effective test strategies.
  4. Provide support to cross-functional teams to analyze challenging field issues.
  5. Build and implement a V&V test process compatible with our Agile scrum sprints.
  6. Interface among multiple departments and teams.
  7. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in department processes.
  8. Conduct static analysis, code coverage analysis, and other verification techniques to ensure high-quality software.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Science or other relevant technical experience.
  2. 2+ years of experience in embedded and system-level software testing.
  3. Experience in Software Verification and Validation methodologies.
  4. Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
  5. Experience in RTOS/Linux is a plus.
  6. Knowledge of defect management tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  7. Prior work in a regulated environment like medical device industry is a plus.
