About the Role

  • The successful candidate will utilize various testing tools and techniques to assess software performance, reliability, and compliance.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of test environments, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) setups, is also essential.
  • Reviewing and analyzing software requirements, specifications, and design documents to ensure thorough test coverage is vital.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on software design and implementation is a critical aspect of this role.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hands-on experience in V&V and embedded software testing, with a strong focus on C/C++ programming.
  • Proven experience with DO-178B standards and processes is essential.
  • A solid understanding of embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and avionics software is necessary.
  • Familiarity with testing tools, including static analysis tools, automated test frameworks, and debugging tools, is desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy, are crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment are required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
