As a key member of the finance team, this position plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and improvement through strategic planning, development, leadership, coordination, and execution of finance-related activities.

This role focuses on enhancing forecasting, management reporting, and costing capabilities to provide value-added services to internal customers and solidify our position as a trusted business partner within the organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert-level process and systems knowledge, serving as a subject matter expert on main processes affecting finance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic and tactical input and advice on plant process applications, including management reporting and consolidation platforms.
  • Reviewing processes and controls across Jabil finance to evaluate consistency and effectiveness.
  • Defining baseline application and best practices with the transformation team.
  • Leading education and communication efforts to promote adoption of best practices.

Additionally, this role involves:

  • Finance leadership and coordination of initiatives from a plant perspective.
  • Coordinating with other groups on process initiatives affecting finance.
  • Establishing communities of practice to promote dialogue, consistency, and best practices.
  • Communicating project status and setting expectations on delivery dates.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong knowledge of global logistics operations and industry.
  • Ability to devise and implement strategies to achieve targets.
  • Financial and analytical skills, with proficiency in managing business analytics.
  • International direct and indirect tax knowledge, as well as global customs regimes.
  • Proven track record of change management accomplishments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required qualifications include:

  • Significant accounting experience and knowledge.
  • Experience and knowledge on IT systems and platforms.
  • Understanding of plant finance processes within Jabil or a combination of education, experience, and/or training.
