Role Overview

We are seeking an Overseas Education Counsellor USA to assist students in finding the right study abroad programs in the USA and guiding them through the admissions process. This is a junior-level position, requiring 1 to 3 years of experience in study abroad counselling. The position is full-time and can be done remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional counselling services to guide international students through their educational journey, from university selection to visa application, ensuring alignment with their academic and career aspirations in the USA.
  • Conduct outreach through calls to enroll students, provide information on study opportunities, and guide them through each stage of the admissions process.
  • Assist students in identifying suitable institutions, managing their application documentation, and guiding them through the admissions process, including SOP and LOR support, while ensuring timely submissions.
  • Offer complete counselling services covering every stage of the student journey, including education loans, visa processes, and pre-departure guidance, making the study abroad experience seamless and stress-free.
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and education providers by delivering accurate information and maintaining consistent communication, enhancing customer satisfaction and advocacy throughout the admissions process.
  • Drive pipeline growth by managing leads, tracking progress, and maintaining an accurate CRM. Participate in events, seek referral opportunities, and promote essential student services to achieve enrollment targets and enhance business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in counselling students on admissions to universities and colleges in the USA.
  • Deep understanding of courses, career options, and admissions processes for Diploma, Bachelor's, and Master's degrees specific to the USA.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Zoho software, student management systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Zoom.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
