Product Manager for Data Platform RoleAbout the Position:We seek a skilled Product Manager to join our data platform team. The successful candidate will shape and manage data products across the enterprise using Snowflake as the core platform.Key Responsibilities:Product Vision: Own and manage product vision, backlog, and roadmap for data platform capabilities.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.Data Pipeline Development: Partner with architects and developers to build scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines.Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer for offshore delivery, ensuring alignment with US-based business stakeholders.Metrics and Adoption: Define and track key performance metrics for data platform products and drive adoption and usability of Snowflake-based solutions.Agile Environment: Support delivery teams in Agile/Scrum environment, facilitating backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Required Skills and Experience:Data Architecture: Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data pipeline design.Cloud Platforms: Experience working with cloud-based data platforms; Snowflake expertise is essential.ETL/ELT Processes: Solid grasp of ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and quality standards.Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with tools like dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran is a plus.Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a distributed team setting.Preferred Qualifications:Data Engineering or Analytics Background: Background in data engineering or analytics before moving into product roles is preferred.Industry Exposure: Exposure to the restaurant or retail industry is a plus.Agile Certification: Agile certification (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) is preferred.Work Model:Time Zone Overlap: Time zone overlap with US teams may be required for meetings.
