About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Observability Engineer. As a key member of our platform team, you will be responsible for building and fine-tuning the platform components for the Observability product.

You will work closely with the Lead engineer, performance team, data ingestion, platform DevOps and data visualization teams under Observability product. Your primary focus will be on supporting and maintaining applications onboarded to Grafana Observability, Ingestion and visualization written in PromQL, Log queries, etc., and monitoring technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing robust monitoring solutions
  • Maintaining and improving existing Observability systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address performance issues

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong understanding of Observability principles and practices
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and containerization
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
