Job Title: Cyber Security Professional

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity professional to design, implement and maintain robust security measures for our systems, networks and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective security solutions to protect IT infrastructure, applications and data from potential threats.
  • Maintain continuous vigilance over networks and systems to identify and respond to security breaches, anomalies and threats in real-time.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify vulnerabilities and address them before they can be exploited.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and lead the response to security incidents when they arise.
  • Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations on mitigation strategies to minimize potential risks.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, virtual private networks and other security tools to ensure optimal performance and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevSecOps practices and ensure seamless deployment of secure solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date security documentation, runbooks and technical reports to support informed decision-making.
  • Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and secure coding techniques to promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field such as computer science, information assurance or network administration.
  • Strong understanding of network, application and cloud security concepts including threat intelligence, cryptography and access control.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, vulnerability scanners and other security tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell or Bash.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements.
