Cloud Security Specialist

The role of Cloud Security Specialist involves leading the security vision and strategy for cloud-based applications. This encompasses infrastructure, platform, and software as a service (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing security reference architectures for public, private, and hybrid cloud systems within Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Identifying and deploying solutions to secure cloud usage, whether cloud-native or third-party solutions.
  • Possessing a firm understanding of security offerings within cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Microsoft Azure/GCP platforms.
  • Leading security vision and strategy around cloud-based applications across all types.
  • Coordinating with various technology and security teams for matters related to cloud security.
  • Analyzing business requirements and translating them to technical security solutions.
  • Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of comprehensive security technologies and processes within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments.
  • Experience working and responding to RFI/RFP requirements for global customers, writing SOWs, and effort estimation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Security Architecture on cloud platforms - Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and GCP.
  • Possessing a deep understanding of cloud security concepts, including identity, access management, network security, data protection, cryptography, and key management.
  • Familiarity with cloud provider-specific security features and services.
