About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems on cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data pipelines using Apache Spark, AWS Glue, and Amazon S3.
  • Develop and deploy scalable data processing applications using Python, PySpark, and AWS Lambda.
  • Maintain and optimize existing data processing systems for improved performance and efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensions, facts, and schema design.
  • Experience with columnar storage formats such as Parquet, Avro, and ORC.
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as Amazon EMR, Amazon Athena, and AWS Glue.
