Responsibilities:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines using Python and cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and developing scalable and efficient data pipelines using Python and cloud-based technologies.
  • Implementing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to move data from diverse sources into our cloud-based data warehouse.
  • Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to design effective data models that align with business requirements.
  • Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of the overall data infrastructure on cloud platforms.
Technical Skills:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following technical skills:

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks, scripting, and automation.
  • Data Engineering Technologies: Extensive experience with data engineering frameworks like distributed data processing.
  • Cloud Platforms: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • SQL and Databases: Proficient in SQL with experience in working with relational databases and cloud-based database services.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
