Lead Data Engineer Opportunity

Job Title: Lead Data Engineer

A leading organization seeks an experienced Lead Data Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time role that requires 8+ years of experience in Enterprise-level Data Engineering roles.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in OLAP design, data warehousing concepts, and writing complex SQL queries. They should also be proficient in Snowflake, including warehouses, data ingestion, external integrations, views, tables, UDFs, procedures, streams, tasks, and serverless architecture.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy large-scale data platforms.
  • Design and implement data warehouses, data lakes, and other data architectures.
  • Develop and maintain complex ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and data workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Enterprise-level Data Engineering roles.
  • Expertise in OLAP design, data warehousing concepts, and writing complex SQL queries.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake, including warehouses, data ingestion, external integrations, views, tables, UDFs, procedures, streams, tasks, and serverless architecture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • Snowpro Certification.
