Job Overview

As a Senior Assurance Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand clients' needs and expectations, including their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values, and industry-related IFRS or GAAP and GAAS issues.
  • Develop and demonstrate an understanding of the audit approach, methodology, and tools.
  • Perform audit procedures and tests in accordance with the audit methodology based on the overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed.
  • Identify areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues; discuss with engagement teams to solve issues that arise.
  • Research technical accounting issues.
  • Develop industry expertise.
  • Prepare audit reports and management letters.
  • Exercise professional skepticism, judgment, and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements.
  • Ensure that documentation is compliant with quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively as a part of the team and communicate effectively with professionals.
  • Provide supervision and development training for associates.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clients.
  • Provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations, including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables.
  • Ensure professional development through ongoing education.
  • Participate in a range of projects and be open to collaborate and work with multiple teams; demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and timely completion of work.
