About this role :-

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional and automation testing, with a strong background in Guidewire technology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing. They will also align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories, execute automated tests, log defects, and support defect triage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-sprint automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories.
  • Execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage.
  • Create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation.
  • Identify and maintain reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Guidewire functional and automation testing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects.
  • Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright, Taiko or JavaScript based frameworks such as Cypress/ Selenium.
  • Hands on experience in Programming based Test Automation toolset and should be part of Test Design for minimum of 2 Years.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing.
  • Experience in improving test coverage and test strategy.
