Logistics Operations Lead

  • Develop and execute end-to-end logistics strategies, coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize global supply chain operations.
  • Manage inbound sea/air freights to various locations and outbound freights in collaboration with regional counterparts.
  • Oversee day-to-day logistics tasks, including shipment tracking, documentation, and vendor coordination.
  • Prepare and verify accurate documentation: bills of lading, certificates of origin, LC documentation, duty forms, and duty exemptions.
  • Cultivate relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure seamless import/export operations.
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Monitor and manage customs duties and tariff exposures, implementing effective duty mitigation strategies.
  • Identify and manage international trade risks, ensuring a secure and reliable import/export process.
  • Coordinate with customs agents and shipping lines to handle import documentation and ensure timely clearance and compliance.
  • Adhere to customs regulations and trade laws, managing bookings, tracking, and cost negotiations.
  • Collaborate with financial teams on Letters of Credit, bank guarantees, and payment terms to ensure financial compliance in international transactions.
  • Implement data-driven decision making using Power BI analysis, SAP knowledge, and MIS reporting.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global trade regulations and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
