Job Title: Software Deployment Specialist

This role performs system integrations across desktop, cloud server, and AVD technology platforms. The resource will participate in the development of deployment solutions for desktop and server platforms as well as conversion of legacy applications and utilities through the use of Numecent, MSIX, PSApp Deploy, Ansible, and containerization.

  • Participate in the design of modern deployment solutions;">
  • Conduct planning, requirements analysis, pre and post-implementation support, and maintenance;">
  • Work on basic to complex applications, develop and execute test plans prior to software deployment and maintain documentation of all customizations and changes made during the deployment process;">

Requirements:

">

The ideal candidate should have experience in integrating application deployment and delivery solutions with user self-service portals, automation tools, enterprise software deployment tools, software licensing tools, data export compliance, remote AVD, and remote hosted applications.

They should be experienced in scripting and database tools such as .NET, .BAT, .VBS, WSE, .MSI, .MST, .MSP, SQL Server, APPV, MSIX, Numecent, and similar technologies.

Strong technical skills are required, along with hands-on expertise in automation scripts, orchestration, and automation processes and products.

">

The candidate should have a deep understanding of implementing and supporting application virtualization, streaming, layering, and paging technologies on AVD environments, desktop, servers on-prem and in the cloud, and mobile devices.

">

They should also be expert in deploying applications through Intune Management, application model, and containers.

">

Experience with Windows Operating Systems (desktop and server), Windows Registry manipulation, and Windows troubleshooting skills are necessary.

Additionally, the candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills and experience with ITIL and IRM process compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

">

Developed scripts in PowerShell, Ansible, DSC, Python, or YAML; familiar with automation tools or automate scripts/processes; experience with idempotent configuration manager, policy, and deployment; project coordination experience; knows how to manage change, identifying risks, design documents; manage or lead technical projects and track task.

Knowledge UWP - MSIX packaging development and deployment; skillful in SAFe Agile framework; experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline; Azure Certificates; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
