Job Title: Product Design Automation Professional

Job Description
  • Deliver high-quality design automation support for products across customer groups.
  • Read and comprehend project requirements, communicating with project owners to clarify necessary data for project completion.
  • Plan micro-projects and submit work allocated in a timely manner.
  • Discuss assigned projects with line managers.
  • Maintain all communication in written form through email, even after telephonic discussions. A summarized email should be sent for discussed points to respective individuals.
  • Follow effective modeling and drawing practices.
  • Ensure deliverables meet requirements and are correct.
  • Timely and successfully deliver all design automation work allocated.
  • Adhere to defined company processes and standards.
  • Maintain customer focus and ensure customer satisfaction through the delivery of quality work.
  • Complete tasks on or before time with full accuracy.
  • If tasks are completed, approach immediate line managers.
  • Maintain customer focus and ensure customer satisfaction through the delivery of good quality work.
  • Complete tasks as defined by immediate seniors, excluding routine tasks.
  • Communicate effectively to avoid ambiguity.
  • If immediate line managers are unavailable, contact the next level of hierarchy for support.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills to avoid ambiguity.
  • Build strong relationships and work well within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to build engineering concepts from scratch.
  • Learn new products quickly and accurately.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • View challenges as opportunities.
Educational Qualification & Work Experience
  • BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or similar field with 5-6 years of experience.
  • Experience with VBA , VB .Net or C# and CAD customization.
  • Experience with CAD software like SOLIDWORKS / Catia / UG / PROE / Autodesk Inventor/AutoCad etc.
  • Minimum 3 years of VBA, VB .Net and CAD Customization coupled with practical experience in CAD software support activity.
  • Knowledge of C will be an added advantage.
