Account Management Specialist

The role of an Account Management Specialist is to oversee various accounting duties including bookkeeping, email correspondence related to supplier payments, daily bank reconciliations for multiple entities, and reviewing/ inputting accounting data. This position requires a strong background in accounting or finance education and prior experience at an intermediate level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general bookkeeping tasks such as managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Manage email enquiries related to supplier payments and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations for multiple group entities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Review and input accounting data into our system, including supplier invoices and fixed assets records.
- Register and maintain fixed assets records accurately and efficiently.
- Input Xero/accounting data into our CRM system when required.
- Work 38 hours per week in Sydney local time.
Requirements:
- Experience with Xero accounting software.
- Background in accounting or finance education.
- Fluent English both spoken and written.
- Prior accounting work experience at an intermediate level.
- Detail-oriented with a process- and deadline-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
