Material Handling Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handling Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing material handling systems for steel plants and power plants.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing material handling systems, including conveyor belts, silos, hoppers, vibrating feeders, screens, dust extraction systems, trippers, belt feeders, belt weighers, magnetic separators, bucket elevators, reclaimers, stackers, barge loaders, barge unloaders, truck loading/unloading stations, crushers, pneumatic conveying systems, diverters, slide gate valves, and lifting devices (hoist and EOT cranes).
  • Preparing process flow diagrams, schemes, and layouts for material handling systems.
  • Preparing profile drawings, calculations, and general arrangement drawings for belt conveying systems.
  • Preparing technical specifications for material handling equipment.
  • Preparing bills of quantity or bills of materials for conveying systems.
  • Developing concept notes, flow diagrams, conveyor design calculations, general arrangement drawings, and detail fabrication drawings of technological structures.
  • Procuring engineering services for material handling equipment, including datasheet analysis, technical specification review, technical bid analysis/offer evaluation, technical recommendation, and vendor document reviews.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5-15 years of experience in design engineering.
  • Proficiency in Auto-Cad and MS-Office.
