Personal Banking Specialist

Job Purpose:

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of customers and enhancing relationships through cross-selling products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily sales reports and ensure quality new acquisitions on savings and current accounts for resident and non-resident customers.
  • Structure bundled offerings of products and services to customers within defined timelines.
  • Ensure attrition control, including persuading customers to continue and renew fixed deposits.
  • Deepen relationships by cross-selling sticky products like demat, bill pay, and advisory services.
  • Monitor large amount movements and account closures from deposit accounts and prevent customer attrition.
  • Utilize sales resources for optimal support and penetration of saving accounts, FDs, and third-party products.
  • Sales of various credit cards, activation, limit enhancements, and promotion of active usage.
  • Manage classic portfolios, extend benefits to customers based on identification in eligibility lists, and maintain customer-to-group ratios.
  • Enhance values within each customer group, ensuring online updation of CRM Next at every stage of customer contact.
  • Proactively raise eligible customers to the classic portfolio within prescribed product programs.
  • Ensure all classic customers are contacted, and detailed interactions are captured in CRM.
  • Achieve income plans and benchmarks within portfolios, including sales per month and year, net banking, mobile banking, and RDFD penetration.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure quality customer service is delivered, recording complaints as specified, and resolving them within stipulated TATs.
  • Communicate with customers regarding closures and file copies.
  • Promote direct banking channels and encourage customer utilization.

Operations:

  • Ensure certification of documentation for opening and maintaining customer accounts.
  • Error-free documentation for all account openings and customer instructions.
  • Maintain Tatkal kits and locker allotments as per process.
  • Submit daily e-schedules for third-party sales.
  • Update CRM for asset leads generated and weed-out databases on portals.
  • Adhere to KYC norms and 5-S norms for individual workstations.
