Chief People Officer


About the Role:

This is a strategic corporate role requiring leadership in building and scaling people management systems worldwide. As a key member of our executive team, you will drive global HR strategy, governance, compliance, and high-performance culture.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as executive HR leader across all regions, overseeing HR operations, employee relations, talent management, and performance management.
  • Establish a corporate-level HR framework, including policies, compliance, performance, and leadership development.
  • Design scalable systems for HR operations, recruitment, payroll, benefits, and compliance with local labor laws.

HQ India: Corporate + Local HR
  • Build the full HR function in India as the corporate HQ backbone.
  • Oversee local HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, benefits, and compliance with Indian labor laws.
  • Act as strategic partner to India-based executives (Finance, Operations, Tech, Sales) to align talent and performance with global objectives.

Talent Acquisition & Development
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting globally, from strategy to execution, building diverse and high-performing teams.
  • Partner with business leaders to design headcount planning, succession pipelines, and leadership hiring.
  • Launch company-wide training, onboarding, and development programs to support long-term growth.

Performance & Culture
  • Build a global performance management system with measurable KPIs and accountability frameworks.
  • Drive company-wide engagement, retention, and career development initiatives.
  • Champion a culture of ownership, excellence, and collaboration across all offices.

Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws in each region.
  • Draft and maintain global employee handbooks, contracts, and policies.
  • Partner with legal counsel to manage sensitive HR and compliance matters.

We're Looking For:
  • 10+ years of HR leadership experience, ideally in a global or multinational company.
  • Proven experience building HR systems from scratch in a growth-stage environment.
  • Deep knowledge of India HR laws and experience running India HR operations.
  • Track record of managing global HR strategy across multiple regions.
  • Strong ability to work with C-level executives and influence business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to company offices.
