Job Opportunity:


We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a key position in our organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure accurate and reliable data throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy data catalogs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Design and implement metadata management solutions to improve data quality and reduce data inconsistencies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop targeted solutions to meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in data governance tools and technologies to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 6+ years of IT experience and 4+ years' experience in Data Cataloging & Data Governance projects.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, and strong understanding of databases and data structures.
  • Experience with Application programming interface (API) development skills, essential in developing & running API scripts across multiple devices, databases, and servers, working with REST, and open API technologies.
  • Proficient in working with Enterprise Data Catalog software like Alation, Collibra etc.
  • Experience with dashboarding of reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in metadata management - Business Glossary, Lineage, data dictionaries, ETL is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and productively under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and decision-making ability.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Additional certifications in data governance and related fields.
  • Proven track record of successful data governance implementations.
  • Fluency in multiple languages.
