Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and implementing robotic solutions for various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robotic programs for optimal production output
  • Program spot welding / MiG welding robots on various systems to ensure efficient production
  • Review and improve robotic processes and sequences to enhance cycle times
  • Provide daily production support for robotic weld cells
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC controlled systems and programs
  • Conduct root cause analysis for all robot downtimes
  • Work with equipment OEM to improve robotic cells and address operational issues
  • Lead the SAT and FAT validation for Robotic Cells
  • Coordinate with consultant teams for design review, schedule monitoring, detail planning activity
  • Implement productivity improvement initiatives
  • Manage document control, special process, flow charts, and prepare assembly instructions for production areas
  • Participate in tooling strategy development and evaluate re-use of existing tooling
  • Collision detection testing for first serial production
  • Prepare SOPs for robot programming and maintenance
  • Perform online programming using RobCAD/Process Simulate softwares
  • Install and verify welding robots, bringing the system to production-ready state
  • Analyze breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive maintenance
  • Implement low-cost automation solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong understanding of robotics, automation, and manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency in CAD, PLM tools (CATIA, DELMIA), and simulation software (RobCAD, Process Simulate)
  • Experience with PLCs (Siemens Step 7) and industrial robot standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
