Job Title: Data Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Data Security Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing data backup infrastructure, ensuring high availability of critical services and maintaining a proactive approach to drive improvements.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Veritas NetBackup on Linux environments, EMC Data Domain, and Quantum tape libraries. Strong communication and collaboration skills are also essential, as they will work closely with various teams to resolve issues and complete tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with business application teams, regional IT teams, global infrastructure support, and IT security teams to resolve issues and complete tasks.
  • Plan and complete designated projects, providing regular updates and ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Responsible for SLA section related to the tower: SLA definition, reporting, dashboards.
  • Ensure coordination and collaboration with Global Head of relevant functional area.

Technical Requirements:

  • High skills on Veritas NetBackup on Linux environments (GUI and CLI setup, management, and troubleshooting).
  • High skills on EMC Data Domain and OST interface with NetBackup.
  • Skills on Quantum tape libraries.

Desirable Skills:

  • Definition of backup architecture Veritas Netbackup - DataDomain - Quantum i6k.
  • Scripts and automation (Shell, Bash, Python, Ansible).
  • CommVault, TSM.

Requirements:

  • 10 years' experience working in an equivalent position.
  • Team and collaborative working to develop and deliver appropriate solutions skills.
  • Experience of delivering strategic priorities within strict timelines.
  • Customer service-oriented skills.
