Data Security Specialist - Microsoft Purview

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Security Specialist to join our team. As a Data Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data security solutions using Microsoft Purview.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in engagements that involve the design, implementation, and management of data security solutions using Microsoft Purview.

You will collaborate closely with various teams, driving requirements and improvements, and establishing yourself as a subject matter expert in data security.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Experience: 3+ Years of experience with Microsoft Purview
  2. Mastery in Microsoft Purview and its integration with other Microsoft services
  3. Deep understanding of data security principles and best practices
  4. Familiarity with global data privacy regulations such as GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA, and HIPAA
  5. Strong understanding of Sensitive Infotypes, Custom and Trainable Classifiers, Records Management and Data Lifecycle Management concepts
  6. Experience with Microsoft Purview, including data governance, compliance management, and Information Protection capabilities
  7. Specific experience strongly recommended and will be thoroughly assessed in technical interviews
  8. Experience in conducting risk assessments, audits, and data flow mapping in Microsoft Purview
  9. Experience with incident response and threat detection related to data breaches
  10. Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar technologies
  11. Background in IT compliance, risk management, or related fields
