Electrical Design Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design professional to conceptualize and lead the development of electrical architectures and control systems. This role involves planning, monitoring, and resolving technical issues within a design team, ensuring accurate design and documentation of systems from concept to implementation.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize and design electrical architectures.
  • Plan and monitor the work of the design team, addressing technical and non-technical issues as they arise.
  • Prepare electrical drawings for systems, adhering to customer standards.
  • Perform system hardware design, including control panel design.
  • Conduct component selection for PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, switchgears, and relays.
  • Carry out electrical system calculations and prepare Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Develop high-level flowcharts for software architecture and sequence of operations for systems.
  • Test designed systems on the shop floor, if required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in electrical architecture and controls design.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components, including PLCs, VFDs, and servo drives.
  • Experience in system hardware design and control panel design.
  • Proficiency in electrical calculations and BOM preparation.
  • Ability to conceptualize and document system operation, including flowcharts and sequence of operation.
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills to manage a design group effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with design testing and validation.
