Enterprise SAP Security Specialist

Seeking an experienced professional with expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) administration, core SAP Security, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing security roles, access controls, and compliance frameworks across SAP systems to ensure secure and compliant enterprise operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SAP Security:
    • Design and implement SAP security roles and authorizations across systems including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, CRM, and Fiori.
    • Perform user administration, role management, and access control for SAP systems.
    • Conduct regular audits and remediation activities related to user access and segregation of duties (SoD).
  • SAP BTP Administration:
    • Manage identity and access provisioning in SAP BTP for both cloud-native and on-premise S/4HANA instances.
    • Configure trust relationships between SAP BTP and corporate identity providers (e.g., Azure AD, SAML, OAuth).
    • Support hybrid connectivity scenarios including SAP Cloud Connector, Destination configurations, and Principal Propagation for secure integration with on-premise systems.
  • SAP GRC:
    • Configure and maintain SAP GRC Access Control modules: ARA, ARM, EAM, BRM.
    • Design and implement SoD ruleset and risk analysis frameworks.
    • Coordinate access request workflows and role approval processes.
    • Conduct periodic access reviews, firefighter session monitoring, and compliance reporting.
  • Governance & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
    • Participate in internal and external audits and facilitate security documentation and evidence collection.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 4–10 years of experience in SAP Security, including user/role administration and access control.
  • Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience in SAP BTP Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control modules and SoD concepts.
  • Experience with Fiori and S/4HANA authorization models.
  • Familiarity with integration technologies (SAML, OAuth, SCIM) and identity providers (Azure AD, Okta).
  • Knowledge of IT compliance standards and practices.
