SAP Security Job Description

At the forefront of enterprise security, SAP Security specialists play a vital role in safeguarding business-critical systems and sensitive data. This strategic position demands an expert with a deep understanding of SAP Security protocols, procedures, and best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive SAP Security frameworks for diverse environments including development, quality assurance, sandbox, training, and production systems.
  • Develop and maintain robust security policies, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks, leveraging expertise in HANA User Administration and Role Management.
  • Investigate and resolve complex security issues, employing advanced analytical skills and technical knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control components.
  • Partner with internal/external audit and SOX compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, promoting a culture of security excellence throughout the organization.
Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in SAP Security administration, with a proven track record of successful implementation and management.
  • Expertise in HANA User Administration and Role Management, with a strong grasp of SAP GRC AC 1 and its components.
  • Thorough understanding of SAP Fiori roles design, build, and troubleshooting, as well as familiarity with SAP GRC Access Request Management and Emergency Access Management.
  • Excellent knowledge of audit compliance processes, customization of SAP Access Control solutions, and technical expertise in GRC Access Control components.
Technical Skills:
  • Deep understanding of SAP GRC AC 1 components, including Access Risk Analysis, Business Role Management, and Object, Analytics, System, Application, and Package privilege.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP Fiori roles design, build, and troubleshooting, as well as customization of SAP Access Control solutions.
